FIELD SALES REPRESENTATIVE, CHINA

OMG has two business segments, Roofing Products and FastenMaster?. This field sales position will work with the Roofing Products team, which offers innovative fasteners, adhesives, roof drains and services to the commercial roofing contractor. Roofing Products is responsible for the majority of the Company's sales and employs approximately half of OMG's 300+ employee workforce. Roofing Products began offering products for sale in China at the beginning of 2010.

Position
The Field Sales Representative generates sales for OMG by promoting the productivity and quality of our products to the roofing contractor. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Field Sales Representative achieves success by knowing our products, being able to demonstrate them effectively and exceeding assigned sales and promotional targets. The Field Sales Representative also helps ensure complete customer satisfaction by providing support as necessary to our Product Managers, Customer Service and Distribution teams.
Responsibilities
? Promote Safety as the first priority of all OMG employees.
? Achieve all targeted sales objectives.
? Identify roofing projects and key contractor sales opportunities in the assigned territory.
? Understand competitors' products and markets served, and use this knowledge in favorable comparisons with our products.
? Provide technical support in sales presentations, product demonstrations and at job sites.
? Use OMG's "The Bank" marketing program to develop a database of key roofing contractors, roofing architects, and system representatives in the assigned territory.
? Submit monthly progress reports, reviewing the past month and accurately forecasting the upcoming month.
? Update Regional Manager weekly/daily as requested regarding account activities and objectives.
? Communicate clearly with Customer Service and Distribution regarding all daily logistics.
? Complete all scheduled job site visits effectively and safely!
? Perform other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
? Bachelor of Arts or Sciences Degree or equivalent.
? Technical sales experience - construction products a plus.
? Ability to develop full, working knowledge of assigned company products and services, competitive products and services.
? Ability to effectively understand and explain related technical issues for all potential customer applications.
? Strong technical presentation development and delivery skills.
? Ability to prioritize work assignments, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines with a high degree of quality and accuracy.
? Tool dexterity and mechanical ability required.
? Strong PC skills including experience with MS Office Suite.
? Advanced language capabilities in English and Chinese.
? Positive attitude and good judgment.
? Ability to travel extensively in China and internationally as required for trade shows, customer visits, internal training and company meetings.

? Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance; and regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds -job requires the ability to climb onto commercial roof decks with products and related equipment.
? Good close vision and depth perception skills.
