QA/QC Manager Job Description
Day-to-Day Operation Responsibilities:
1.Work Closely with Merchandiser/Technical team (China) to support the development activities directly with the factories (China).
2.Work closely with Merchandiser in order to guarantee high quality standard and fast problem solving on production issues.
3.Industrialization of the products, collaboration with Merchandising/Technical Department to optimize the production process and ensure quality standard achievements.
4.Conformity in respect of the technical package previously provided by the Merchandising/Design Department, and ensures quality standard of the products development can be meet.
5.Follow up with Merchandising Department on seasonal timeline and ensure performance can meet company standard schedule.
6.Gather and follow up products defect reduction projects, recommend quality improvement initiatives, plans or strategies to cope with company’s growth.
7.Visit and comply full audit to assign or potential factories.
Management Responsibilities
1.Oversee the operations of the QA/QC department
2.Review quality policy and process to constantly improve the efficiency and effectiveness in preventing and detecting quality problems
3.Provide strategic advice to the Management across the product and service quality perspective to meet the operation need and support business growth.
4.Identify, plan and conduct training programs to focus staff on quality improvement.
5.Keep abreast of market trend on quality assurance and bring in new practices to enhance the quality and production efficiency.
Requirement:
1.Degree or above in Quality Management/Production Engineering or other related disciplines.
2.Min 8 years Garments Quality control and related experience with at least 3 years in management position.
3.Comprehensive knowledge ISO standard.
4.Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin.
5.Familiarity with AQL sampling and testing.
6.Familiarity with quality auditing and continuous improvement.
