Fabric Sourcing Merchandiser
Responsibilities:
1.Re-search and identify proper fabric supplier on regular basis.
2.Support with design and related department on new textile technology, trend and new regulations.
3.Confirm new fabric quality before commercialization.
4.Maintain the proper fabric supplier information in the company system.
5.Liaison between HQ and fabric suppliers.
6.Monitor progress on new fabric development and manage the development status.
7.Conduct pre-costing of material with suppliers.
8.Continue providing new trend and new source of fabric to company.
Requirements:
1.Degree holder in textile or related discipline is preferred
2.3-4 years or above experience in fabric sourcing and development is a must.
3.Previous experience in buying office or trading firm is highly preferred.
4.Fluent communication skills and liaison with textile suppliers, garment factories, buyers and designer in HQ.
5.Able to travel within the region for new source.
6.Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin.
