Objectives:

According to the general guidance of EHS mandatory requirements and Responsible Care ？ principles and practices, assist RCQM manager and EHS supervisor to establish and implement the EHS programs in the company, including organizing activities to raise employee awareness of risks and to reduce so as to support avoidance of hazards and occupational illnesses in the workplace.

Main Tasks:

• To review and update EHS documentation based on EHS regulations, BASF and customers’ requirements , and to monitor its implementation;


• To organize / attend the EHS inspections, audits and follow up the findings;


• To organize / attend the incident/accident investigation, to raise the corrective and preventive actions and follow these actions;


• To interpret and deliver EHS regulations and BASF EHS requirements to all staff;


• To prepare and conduct EHS training and promotion activities and improve the EHS capabilities and awareness;


• To collect and analyse EHS data and prepare EHS reports as requirement;


• To organize/attend risk assessment of each department, to make out the control measurements together with department and monitor their implementation;


• To coordinate PPE planning, placing order, distribution and monitoring PPE usage;


• To act as health coordinator and filing health check records;


• To act as security coordinator and manage security guard team;


• To act as information protection coordinator and responsible for information protection requirement implementation.


• To support other RC codes activities as job needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in safety, environment, chemical engineering, or other functionally relevant field.


• Minimum 2 years EHS working experience at chemical plant.


• Strong learning capability and problem solving skills.


• Good English communication, familiar PC’s software and good interpersonal skills
