We require for the Translator position, with English mother tongue, and adequate fluency in Chinese and a good level in French.

The candidate should obtain and present specialized information within strict accuracy and format requirements, and must possess the highly specialized knowledge of English writing and translation.



A qualified candidate must demonstrate the following skills and abilities:
? With in-depth knowledge of the English language, perform translation of written text from French or Chinese into English (and vice versa) in various business and social settings.
? Translate a variety of material, particularly Marketing/ communications material (company brochures, leaflets, commercial documents, company website, etc.), ERP keywords, technical and engineering documentation for customers, from foreign languages (Chinese, French) to English and vice versa, with attention to fact and nuance, so that the intent and tone of the original meaning is preserved.
? The work might involve some amount of travel for the exhibitions which the company participates in.
? Edit, standardize, proofread, revise and finalize translated material prepared by other co-workers and contractors.
? Organize translated material and finalize translation according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
? Prepare project reports and documentation.
? Create writing instructions, reference, etc., if necessary.
? Prepare project proposals, training materials, technical reports and help systems for assigned projects.
? Technical Knowledge – having some background in technical translation and technical writing would be a plus.
