Main responsibility:

Located in Guangzhou, the Senior Software Engineer/Software Engineer will co-work with the Project Manager, Production Manager and Hardware Team and be responsible but not limited to
- Product development (Software) : Hearing Solution and Alert System Products
- The full software design cycle from finalizing features/program flow, software development to following up software problem in production and after sales.
- Testing and preparing technical data and product info to marketing team for writing product sales document.
- Software revision control/releases control
- New features implementation and performance improvement.
- Technical pre-studies of future products\solutions

Candidate with less experience will be considered as Software Engineer.

Job description:

New Products:
- Participate in discussions around new products and product specifications.
- Responsible for supporting the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) in conducting technical pre-studies.

New Product development projects:
- Responsible for translating system and function requirements into software requirements.
- Responsible for developing algorithms, user interfaces and wireless communication
- Responsible for verifying and validating product implementations.
- Responsible for documentation.

Profile searched for:

Education:
- Bachelor Degree in Electronics\Electrical\Software Engineering or relevant.

Working experience:

- At least 10 years’ experience preferably in embedded software development, C\Assembly (e.g. “Bare Metal programming”)
- Experience in writing quality codes with good documentation, traceability and readability. Understand how to write code for continuous development and re-usability.
- Experience in writing code for DSP\MCU (e.g. TI MSP430, Microchip MCU etc.) will be a BIG advantage.
- Experience in using Revision Control Tool (e.g Git) will be a BIG advantage
- Understand basic Signal Processing Theory especially in audio processing is a plus
- Experience in writing product testing\diagnostic software will be a plus.
- Experience in using IAR workbench or similar debug tools is a plus.
- Can understand circuit diagrams and to use qualified test equipment will help.
RF (Radio Frequency) technology on the Short Range Devices (SRD) band.
