Main Responsibility
- Detailed mechanical solutions by creating CAD drawings, studies, concepts, specifications
- Calculations and simulations (Concerning structural stiffness, shock & vibration, stability, thermal management, noise, etc)
- Select components, materials & production methods
- Evaluation and co-operation with subcontractor
- Co-operation with production and sourcing
- Prototype assembly & mechanical testing, in-house and external (vibration lab)
- Preparation of test procedures and test reports
- Contribution to process- and product-improvement, from prototype construction to serial production
- Develop and maintain technical know-how, write technical documentation

Basic Requirement
- Bachelor or Master degree on industrial structural design
- Proficient with design tools, Solid Edge, Pro E, Auto CAD
- 2 years work experience at least
- Good English and Chinese communication skills both verbal and in writing

Nice to have Requirement
- Welding Engineer according to EN 15085
- Experience in Traction/Railway applications
- Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and simulation tools
- Knowedge of thermal management (water or air), heat-exchanger and ventilators
- SAP
