We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this dedicated team in the role of Consultant Specialist, Production Support.

In this role, you will:
- Provide team leadership and coaching
o Promote an environment of trust, cohesive team effort, encourage innovation and constant improvement
o Motivate and inspire team members to want to be part of GFX and want to deliver high quality works.
o Lead by setting a good example (role model) - behaviour and actions consistent with words
o Lead by setting a good example (role model) – high level of functional knowledge
o Facilitate problem solving and collaboration with other teams
o Maintain healthy group dynamics, intervene when necessary to aid the group in resolving issues
o Ensure that the team members have the necessary education and training to effectively participate on the team
o Encourage creativity, and constant improvement
o Ensure that the team think Global and encourage them to interact with team mates by comms that are not email.
o Recognize and celebrate team and team member accomplishments and exceptional performance
- Production Support Management
o Act as production support escalation point for any service in the support team.
o Manage and responsible for the business communication with key stakeholders.
o Leading the application support team, Ensure incident or problem tickets are being raised for repeat issues and anything else according to the Problem Management procedures.
o Managing day to day workload of support resources in GLTc.
o Monitor eRTC, GSD & Mailboxes to ensure issues are being resolved within SLA
o Ensuring workload is prioritized for each resource and they are following the defined incident / problem management procedures, maintain the communication relation with support leads of other region; meanwhile overseeing service provided by Level 1 and ensuring they are following the defined incident management procedures, maintain the communication relation with regional L1 leads
o Manage and own all critical issues raised in timezone, ensuring crisis calls are started, attending and driving the resolution. Escalation to Service managers where necessary.
o summaries/timelines/next steps of events to the management team
- Team Management
o Manage the day-to-day production support team operation in Guangzhou.
o Regular update of the team activities and staff issue to local management and functional stakeholders.
o Manage staff performance review and arrange/participate in mid-year / year-end performance appraisal discussion.
o Manage AOP planning, execution and review.
o Manage Travel & Expense etc. GLTc operation activates.
o Manage staff development and career planning.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English. Proficiency in verbal and written.
- Ability to deliver results to other business locations through mobilizing local resources
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
- Proven history of team management on a multi-national basis along with a proven track record of hiring, managing and training IT professionals.
- A quick learner to understand system and business logic and provide analysis
- Interested in understanding the foreign exchange and money market business
- Solid experience in implementing & supporting mission critical production systems, preferably gained from a global matrixed organization.

Ideal Experience (following skills/experiences would be an added advantage)
- Preferably background to support high frequency electronic transaction system
- Preferably background to support java J2SE/J2EE based system/applications
- ITIL certification or strong understanding of ITIL processes
- Messaging middleware experience, in order of importance: MQ, 29West, TIB/RV
- Experiences to work with infrastructure team to deliver the best architecture for applications
- Understanding of Foreign Exchange and Money Market products and life cycle
- Working in a global team with different cultures
