Main Job Purpose:
To maintain a well-geared Quality Management framework and built on it , deploy a reliable Quality system in operation to rein operational quality activity running in line with the expectation and target, also to responsible for the co-ordination and implementation of statistical techniques which are a strategic tool for continuous improvement in both product and process.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Identifies and drives quality improvement activities to world class level
2. Create and drive activities to prevent problem occurrence both at suppliers and inside
3. Investigates and identifies customers quality complaints, partners with other functions especially Sales and Customer Service to deliver customers quality requirements and to assure customer complaints and concerns are suitable addressed.
4. Conducts root cause analysis and drives preventive, corrective actions and improvement actions
5. Schedules and coordinates supplier quality, social compliance and C-TPAT system audit with procurement and map out audits report, guides suppliers.
6. Schedules and monitors Quality, environment and safety System Audits, ensures quality policy/quality manual/product safety compliance to ISO9001 and product safety system.
7. Ensures appropriate staff selection, evaluates staff performance with HR, drives and conducts effective training, coaches, develops and directs labor.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree or above and major in mechanical/ electronics engineering field.
2. 8+ years overall quality management experience in consumer product industry, 3+ years supervisory experience in a similar position required.
3. Six Sigma, statistical quality tools, especially lean manufacturing and ISO9002 and QS9000 knowledge are needed.
4. Fluent in written and spoken English is preferred.
5. Strong leadership and organization skills, good supervisory skills, time-management and execution capability.
6. Ability to be decisive and work effectively under pressure.
7. SAP knowledge is a plus.
8. Excellent prioritization skills.
