--Minimum 8 years in garment merchandising experience and 2-5 years experience managing a team of more than 10 people.
--Solid garment knowledge for Women’s wear
--Preferably University degree or similar education with Fashion and textile garment background;
--Strong negotiation skills with suppliers to obtain best price and ship date, conduct cost reviews to keep prices workable;
--Drive the team to keep all orders running on schedule
--Excellent knowledge of the international Apparel markets and networks
--Excellent verbal and written English communication language skills
--PC literate, Microsoft office including high level Excel skills;
--Strong garment fitting, patternmaking and product development skills
--Familiar with fabric and local fabric and accessories markets
--Familiar with fabric and trims prices and can calculate garment costings
--Have a good supplier relations and contacts and can introduce new suppliers to our company.
--Ensure all targets set by company are achieved.
--Can work fast, efficiently and under pressure with a willingness to perform.
