Functions and Responsibilities

？ Source, develop & qualified vendors/products to support the continuous growth of the product categories at Central Garden & Pet

？ Identify and pre-qualify potential vendors & products quality standards

？ Establish and manage vendor/material base

？ Maintain updated product development & delivery status on timely base

？ Conduct negotiations, delivery agreements, payment terms & quality improvement actions

？ Conduct, review & ensure continuous improvement within the vendor/material base in the performance of cost, quality and delivery

？ Maintain database of the costing, quality trend of finished products & raw materials

？ Seek for new technology in the material & labor supplies

Qualifications Requirements

？ Bachelor Degree in the appropriate field or equivalent

？ 3-5 years sourcing experience in the appropriate industry with variety exposure of other industries

？ Ability to work independently, organized & with minimal supervision

？ Good supervisory skills

？ Strong computer knowledge

？ Fluent in written & spoken English
