Job description
Scheduling Manager is responsible for ensuring that a product or promotional product is in the right place at the right time, and in the proper quantity and quality. This involves working closely with the buying teams to accurately forecast trends and monitor performance.
Scheduling Manager plays a key role within organizations. They oversee delivery and deal with suppliers.
Work activities will typically include:
1. Responsible for overall plan of operation (eg. including die, tooling samples and mass production and the work of logistics, etc) and working arrangements within a time limit, agreeing timescales and delivery dates, and completing the necessary paperwork
2. Preparing production plans in conjunction with buyers and marketing and manage project schedules;
3. Maintaining a comprehensive library of appropriate scheduling data;
4. According to order, prepare working plan and arrangement, distribution to the scheduler(s).
5. Identifying and resolving production and supply difficulties and dealing with any problems or delays as they arise;
6. Cost control and related cost studies on FOB, DDP, DDU, CIF in different sort of containers;
7. Fulfill the assignments on time and report to the supervisor on the important and exceptional matters;
8. Working in good order under immediate supervision;
9. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job;
10. Tracking Door-to-Door delivery schedule;
11. Creating and ensuring kinds of Accpac reports are correct;
12. Conduct analysis on project critical activities and develop work around or recovery plans to offset delays;
13. Evaluate changes and ensure appropriate cost and schedule controls are included minimize risk;
14. Expediting solutions for risks identified;
15. Develop and maintain Management Milestone Reporting, working closely with Sourcing & QA/QC team;
16. Effectively communicates with company personnel, clients, subcontractors, regulatory inspectors, and third parties;
17. Problem solving of any scheduling business relevant complaints arises;
18. Perform analysis and reporting of all partner deliverables;
19. Persuading reluctant staff to change their way of working to incorporate quality methods;
20. Managing, training and supervising junior staff;
21. Other duties as assigned;
22. Report to General Manager;
