Mars University is creating a powerful, high impact global curriculum, and the core purpose of these roles is to deploy this in the region. There are three main strands to the role:


? Be expert delivery of Leadership @ Mars Part 1 and Part 2, thus empowering our people leaders to be engaging, inspiring and skilled line managers.

? Head up the Leadership College in the region, working with internal and external stakeholders and managing the operation to execute the full curriculum, provide specialist advice, and collaborate with the global team to identify, develop and implement improvements.

? Partner with the global team on priority work-streams to bring the strategy to life across the business.

? Take ownership for great execution across the region, managing demand & supply planning, developing and leading the facilitator team including supplier management, and overseeing an efficient and effective operational process. It requires close relationships with the local P&O teams across all of the units, with your peers in other regions, and with our external partners. You will also be co-creating, piloting and launching new programmes in line with global plans.

? You will also be responsible for leading a number of exciting regional projects.


KEY OUTPUTS

Leadership @ Mars programmes are designed differently. Delegates start with Self-Directed Learning - 3 months of guided discovery and reflection - followed by a 5 day Classroom experience to make sense of and practice the new behaviours and tools and then 3 months of completing Application Objectives to achieve concrete outputs with their team. Their line manager signs off successful completion of these objectives.


As Mars U manager, you will be developing clear learning strategies and metrics for all Asian units; developing and delivering an integrated activity plan of regional and local learning solutions to achieve the agreed improvements; facilitating the Classroom experience together with an internal or external partner, working with 24 new line managers from across the business to bring to life the core models, tools and frameworks, and enable the participants to develop their understanding, confidence and skill. You will also introduce LMs to the Self-directed Module, setting expectations and engaging participants & their LMs in the journey, and oversee the Application Module, including peer coaching sessions for participants to reflect, share and learn from each other.


College Leadership means taking ownership for great execution across the region, managing demand & supply planning, developing and leading the facilitator team including supplier management, and overseeing an efficient and effective operational process. Requirements of the Role:


? Credibility to deliver leadership interventions to a broad range of leaders at Mars is essential. The successful candidate must demonstrate deep understanding of human processes, and ability to navigate others through them as part of their developmental and change journey. This capability could be demonstrated via experience in Leadership Development and/or Line Management

? As we deliver our flagship programs across Asia, full fluency in English and Chinese is essential.

? Outstanding facilitation skills are essential, with a track record of leading complex sessions to a successful outcome.

? Strong interpersonal skills including a demonstrated ability to communicate to all levels and functions of the organization, and build trusting and credible relationships.

? Deep understanding of the Mars culture, 5 Principles and way of doing business, and the ability to bring these to life for others

? Flexibility to travel – 25-40%.
