Main Responsibilities
Essential Function 1:Ensure product safety issues in compliance with Clariant/national/local regulations and specific requirements defined by customer, RC support
1.Maintain product Safety data in PEE system (MSDS, Food Contact declaration, ROHS etc.)to ensure legal compliance and fulfill the requirements defined by customer
1.1Obtain national/local regulation (e.g. biocides, Medical Device, food packaging, cosmetics)
1.2Obtain relevant data of raw materials (MSDS, declaration or other literature) from supplier
1.3Search the registration status of product and release the product in Authorization Sentinels (SAP)
1.4Provide updated information related to product safety to affected departments
2.Issue compliance declarations and certifications to customer
3.Assist lab to screen raw materials and suppliers related to product safety
4.Provide guidance for transportation and labeling according determination of classification(e.g. Hazardous materials list)
5.involve in responsible care issues on behalf of Product safety
Essential Function 2:Technical Support
1.Technical support for colour trail in customer process
2.Trouble shooting for MB related down stream process
Required Education and Business Experience
Education:
University or above
Business experience:
1. Over 5 years working experience in plastic industry, sound knowledge of pigment, resin and additives;
2. Familiar with National/Local Regulation related to Product Safety
3. Good command of written & spoken English (CET 4 level preferable);
4. Good computer operation skill in MS-office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
Additional Qualifications:
Comprehensive knowledge on chemicals and fluent English.
