Job Description:

l Investigate new materials and manufacturing methods to coat a variety of surfaces for hand held devices and computers.

l Engage paint and ink suppliers to lead investigations in material selection.

l Undertake Research and Development (R&D) programs that are identified by management, as well as proposing, investigating other R&D programs that are aligned to company's long-term strategy.

l Undertake projects that require the expertise of R&D Department, such as technology due diligence and technology transfer programs.

l Selection and qualification of new paint, inks or coatings or new coating supplier to enhance the technical capability of the supply chain.

Requirements:

l A bachelor's / Masters degree in chemistry or Chemical Engineering is preferred.

l Understand relationship between formulation, mixing, coating, curing processes and product performance with an experience of at least 5 years.

l Experience in paint/ ink manufacturing, polymer, printing, coating application is a must.

l Back ground in material characterization using analytical tools like SEM/ TEM/ EDX/ FTIR etc preferred.
