Position Summary:
Responsible for product design & development, manufacturing process improvement and trouble shooting of new product development.
Universal Accountabilities:
61 Participate in product design and development process of new razors in PRC plant.
61Interact with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field. Ensure clarification and meet specific requirements in a timely manner.
61Prepare and updates all manufacturing procedures, product information such as drawings, process sheets and product specifications.
61Explore new material, new vendor and process to enhance razor manufacturing in PRC. Develop new ideas and inventions for use in products.
61Facilitate the start up, production trial and trouble shooting of new razors manufacturing.
61Improve existing manufacturing processes, equipment for better and consistent product quality, higher efficiency and lower cost.
61Plan and coordinate engineering initiatives to facilitate the new razor development in meeting project schedule, specifications, cost and associated spending budget with good quality, document and report project progress to stakeholders and clients
61Carry out other related duties
Required Skills and Experience:
61B.S. degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
61Proven working experience as a Design/Project Engineer.
61Minimum 5 years solid experience in product design is preferable. Mechanical Engineers with experience in injection molding, die casting, plating & printing process is preferred. Less experience in design field will be considered as junior position.
61Excellent communication skills, good command of both written and spoken in English.
61Skilled in CAD(Pro/Engineer). Good knowledge of tolerance and quality inspection, design failure modes & effects analysis(DFMEA).
61Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
61Strong time management and analytical skills
