This position is under Direct Import team in Asia Logistics team.
It is required to handle direct import shipment to our customer Lowes, from receiving the orders, shipping and till the payment.
Need to work with various parties during the process and it is important to communicate proactively and properly.
Also need to provide the documentation without errors on time.
Additionally, we have direct orders from multiple customers in USA, need to arrange shipments per customer request and update the tracker.
Direct Import shipments for Lowes. (70%)
- Need to check if we receive new orders in the nominated forwarder system. If we receive new orders, need to accept/transfer orders to the supplier in the system.
- Need to check qty/amount/item description information for the newly released orders. If have discrepancies, communicate with all related parties (US fulfillment/Sales/customer).
- Support to revise/change PO information between supplier and customer.
- Receive the updated information from suppliers every Monday and send the updated open order weekly tracker to the customer following their requirements.
- Need to check space status weekly basis for all suppliers. If the nominated forwarder still does not release SO, communicate customer and the nominated forwarder to release SO as soon as possible.
- Creation of Commercial Invoice and Packing List in the nominated forwarder system.
- Receive PO updated information from suppliers before ETD.
- Support suppliers to place booking timely and follow customer’s requirements.
- Check and save FCR/SWB once received from the supplier and the nominated forwarder.
- Receive and save the Inspection Certificate from the customer. Need to upload Inspection Certificate in the nominated system after creating commercial invoice and packing list.
- Support the finance team if they have any payment issues.
- Need support if have any production/shipping issues between customer and US fulfillment.
- Support suppliers if they have discrepancies/issues in GEA system.
Customer direct shipments (30%)
- Need to check the new orders from the customers. Once we receive a new PO, check with supplier for CRD and get freight cost from the forwarder.
- Update the info in the tracker which shared with the related parties in US
- Once the cargo is ready, coordinate the arrangement with the forwarder and make sure all the information is correctly matched with PO.
- Creation of commercial invoice for the broker
- Send the shipping documents to the forwarder and US team.
- Keep the tracker updated with new information
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Good ability for reading, writing and speaking English
Working experience in international trading/logistics for 3-5 years
Good knowledge on business/logistics terms and conditions
Proactive attitude and good communication skills
Positive thinking and good collaborations with others.
Available for travel when required domestic or international.
