Position Summary

• This position will be responsible for performance qualification (PQ) of new molded components, addressing customer feedback issues, implementing process improvements on existing processes, and implementing cost improvement ideas.

• Guide Project Engineers to study, select, explore, evaluate the injection molding components and establish the injection molding process of the components.

• Meet the requirement of injection molding process in safety, quality and costs.  Strike up the competitive injection molding process systems.

• Act as liaison between NPI and Production (Molding) 

   

  Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the Manufacturing Plan, Bill of Process for injection molding processes (which will include evaluation of machine & auxiliary equipment)

• Set up the manufacturing engineering specifications for machines, molds, & auxiliary equipment and be the key contact to support all molding activities

• Propose the concept alternatives to optimize the product design in molding feasibility.

• Set-up injection molding requirements, planned maintenance requirements, tool try-out, tools validations, capability study and part performance qualifications.

• Quality engineering studies as necessary to respond to internal or external part or process non-conformities.

• Adhering to quality system requirements and a focus on continuous improvement in relationship to our process set-ups and their maintenance.(Equipment, tool etc)

• Development of Preventive Maintenance Program (developed by Engineering, executed by Production and audited by Engineering)

• Implement Scientific Molding Practices
