Core Responsibilities

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for creating the value of Alcanta International College by

managing the school social media in a creative, engaging and responsible manner.

Position Demands

Degree in Marketing or relevant field.

2 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role, which involves 1) developing

and evaluating social medial strategies; 2) creating and tailoring written and visual content to

different social media platforms; 3) using Photoshop, Illustrator or similar design tools.

General knowledge of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and internet ranking for web content.

Great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.

Excellent multitasking skills, time management, and teamwork skills.

Ability to measure the success of marketing campaigns.

Demonstrating ROI and working towards daily, weekly, and monthly targets.

Web design knowledge and experience would be an advantage.

Main duties and responsibilities

Develop, implement, and manage AIC social media strategy and goal.

Create actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers through popular local and

international social media platforms.

Build a social media presence by maintaining a solid online presence.

Formulate high-quality written and visual content for each social media campaign.

Ensure brand consistency in copy through tone, voice, and terminology.

Manage AIC online communities to ensure respectful and appropriate engagement.

Manage, and oversee AIC social media content.

Use social media marketing tools, including content creation and curation tools, monitoring, and

sharing tools, graphic tools, and analytical tools, and so on.

Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization.

Analyze data to determine whether social media campaigns have achieved their objectives.

Collaborate with Marketing and admissions teams.

Attend educational conferences.

Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies.

Adhere to the rules and regulations on social media by the government and AIC.

Perform tasks assigned by the Head of School.

Accountability / Goals

To help improve and maintain the AIC brand in the market.

To communicate the day to day life of the student on AIC campus and to highlight how these relate

to the ethos of AIC.

To make AIC, including the teaching and learning, to be more visible in the community through the

social media platforms.

To create value for AIC brand.

 To adhere to AIC mission, vision, goals and core values.

亚加达（AIC）是世界文凭组织（IBO）认证的IB成员学校，编号006668，开设语言培训课程及IB国际文凭大学预科课程，至今已经有五届毕业生成功获得IB国际文凭并考取心仪的大学。

地理位置： 亚加达（AIC）校区位于广州市南沙自贸区明珠湾片区，粤港澳大湾区的中心地带，距离广州市区和东莞市区50分钟车程，距离深圳60分钟车程。校园占地面积达5.1万多平方米，建筑面积3.3万平方米，按现代化、国际化、园林化、科技化标准建设。

教师团队： 亚加达教师团队来自于中国、美国、英国、加拿大、新西兰、荷兰、希腊、等全球各个国家。聘请国际文凭组织（IBO）的学科专家、考官及官方教师培训官，其中包括中文、英文、地理、艺术等学科的考官，提供专业及权威的学术指导。

课程设置：国际文凭大学预科课程由6组学科课程“语言与文字研究”、“语言习得”、“个体与社会”、“科学学科”、“数学”、“艺术学科”组成，6组学科课程则从中各选3门高水平学科和3门标准水平学科进行学习。另外还有3门核心课程为必修内容，分别是认识论（TOK）、创造、行动、服务（CAS）、专题论文（EE）。
为期两年的国际文凭大学预科课程不仅让学生获得全面知识，同时也学习如何在生活当中发挥创造能力，提出实践行动及履行社会服务。国际文凭大学预科课程的学生可凭借各科成绩和IB国际文凭申请全球3000多所大学，包括牛津、剑桥、哈佛等顶尖名校。

课外活动： 课外活动旨在培养学生的创造力、提高身体素质和鼓励其参与服务社会项目。活动丰富，有厨艺班（中式菜、烘培、西式菜）、茶道、法语俱乐部、俄语俱乐部、韩语俱乐部、篮球、羽毛球、足球、网球、乒乓球、景泰社区服务、户外拓展旅行等。学生可选择报名参加活动各项目，或自己主动组织新活动项目以发挥各自的领导能力。我们要求在读学生每周至少参加两次这类活动。

升学辅导： AIC拥有一支由具有丰富升学指导及大学申请经验的教师组成的升学指导团队，免费为学生提供大学申请服务，全面指导学生每一步的准备和申请工作，包括：
升学指导讲座 -让学生深入了解海外大学的概况和申请程序，从而对自己的未来有更清晰合理的规划；
大学招生官来访 – 来自英国、美国、加拿大等国的大学招生官为同学们全面透析国外大学生活和申请技巧；
个性化升学规划 - 根据学生和家长的意愿，结合学生的兴趣、性格、学业专长、发展途径等，指导学生选定留学国家、学校和课程；
申请指导 - 辅导学生准备及递交申请材料，包括文书、小论文和推荐信等，并适时跟进学生的申请情况，指导学生及时处理大学的申请反馈或补充材料的要求；
面试辅导 - 为申请牛津、剑桥等世界顶尖名校的学生进行入学面试辅导，帮助学生轻松应对名校面试。

升学成绩： 2018届的IBDP毕业生中，超80%毕业生获QS世界排名前50大学录取，共获得来自英、美、澳、加、日本、荷兰、中国香港等国家和地区的大学录取通知书。谢云同学被剑桥大学录取。
