Key Roles

· Managing our Marketing & Events Department

· Design, planning, delivery and evaluation of marketing campaigns and events

· Developing a social media platform

· Customer and media relations

Required Experience and Skills

· Ideally at least 5 years’ marketing and management experience

· Ability to manage and lead a team

· Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills

· Solid project management skill

· High degree of professionalism and ethics

· Fluent in English listening, speaking, reading and writing,

About The Happy Monk
Since the very beginning, we have been striving to run a cool, yet welcoming and inclusive, “London-style” cocktail bar. We have now grown to five outlets located in prime downtown locations in Guangzhou, employing almost 200 full time staff. We focus upon bringing a true and authentic “western bar experience” to our customers. And we actively promote the UK’s rich food and drink culture.
We have been recognised in the market on a number of occasions in both the local Chinese and English language media, including “Best Café in Guangzhou”, “Best Bar in Guangzhou” and most recently “Best British/Irish”. Last but not least, we are authentic and detail-focused. We put “ethics” and “integrity” at the centre of everything we do!
