Food Quality Engineer 食品质量控制工程师

Job Description：

  1. Quality assurance

     1) Understand and discuss customers' quality requirements and associated control plans.

     2) Explain and share those requirements with commercial teams and suppliers.

     3) Implement and monitor required control plans.

     4) Anticipate potential problems and risks, propose quality assurance plans/solutions to customers with balance between risk and cost, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions. 

     5) Be updated in new regulation of importing country and share information to all party

  2. Trouble shooting

     1) Detect non-conformities from inspection and testing reports provided by 3rd parties.

     2) Provide technical solutions to solve non-conformities, in line with partner's requirements.

  3. Communication

     1) Communicate with oversea partners to define the right course of actions for specific projects and issues.

     2) Obtain partner's shipment approval once control is done and results are positive.

     3) Communicate with third party laboratories / inspection companies for implementing and following TCF / test / inspection services.

     4) Communicate our quality requirement to 3rd party laboratories. 

     5) Follow up inspection report and lab test

     6) Communicate with suppliers on client complaints and problem shooting.

     7) Coordinate with supplier on inspection / lab test arrangement.

  4. Others

     1) Conduct factory assessment of existing suppliers, follow up corrective action plan.

     2) Participate sample testing, gathering data during testing, write report and share to the team.

     3) Responsible for packaging development as per relevant standard (European, Brazilian, etc.)

     4) Identify potential suppliers and potential products to be developed in Asia region.

Job Specification

1. Minimum bachelor degree in Food Science or other relevant degree
2. 2years of working experience in quality assurance related fields in an international buying office, trading company or similar
3. Product knowledge of Food
4. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control practices in the consumer goods industry
5. Knowledge of safety requirements and norms of Food for different Europe and South America markets.
6. Fluent in English (both spoken and written) is required
7. Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) 
8. High integrity, Good inter-personal skills.
