RESPONSIBILITY         

? In the initial stage of product design, cooperate with R&D to find new materials and support material selection in R&D and design process.

? Project management of new product introduction (NPI) from sampling to ramp up in terms of schedule and quality management

? Manage plant supply base development, suppliers selection, management and phase out

? Be responsible for getting our products at the best possible conditions and price.

? Drive cost savings.

? Be in charge for the inquiry, price negotiation, Contract negotiation including Quality/Service/Price etc. with supplier.

? Be responsible for signing agreements with suppliers: including confidentiality agreements, COC, price trade agreements, procurement agreements, etc.

? Monitor and improve the procedures and processes to improve efficiency;

? Actively implement and improve the ERP system in Sourcing topics;

? Support purchasing to production on-time delivery

? Support and work closely with Operation and APAC Category Managers.

? Manage supplier performance scorecard of cost, quality, service, on-time delivery, technology, etc.

? Search and qualify alternative supplier/material for cost down.

 

REQUIREMENT

Experience Level:

? Preferred working experience in NPI management

? Preferred experiences in mechanical parts sourcing, such as casting, plastic injection, IML etc. Additional knowledge or experience in electronics parts is a plus, i.e. PCBA, motor etc.

 

Qualifications:

? High integrity and business ethics 

? Bachelor degree or equivalent

? Good communication and interpersonal skill, result oriented

? Good skills in negotiation and supply management;

? Good communication skills in dealing with employees at all levels;

? The ability to organize, motivate and develop people.

? English language preferred (at least reading and writing)

 

ORGANIZATION           

? Report to Sourcing Manager

? Working closely with plant operation, purchasing, R&D, quality and others related functions
