Role Title: Associate Project Manager
Business: Risk IT
Role Purpose / Description Impact on the Business/Function
- Lead Agile teams including DevOps engineers to migrate key business processes to the Cloud. This includes:
-Migration of data to Cloud.
-Ensuring environment and applications are developed on the Cloud.
-Ensuring all requirements are met for production processes on the Cloud.
-Ensuring all required approvals are met prior to Cloud adoption.
- Realize benefits from Cloud technology – from faster processes, reduced costs, improved agility and leveraging modern analytic and reporting applications. Customers / Stakeholders
- Partner with the business to understand the problem statement to be solved by Cloud.
- Partner with business, IT and Cloud Providers to deliver Cloud-based solution to problem statement.
- Liaise with Legal, Compliance, Information Security and Operational Risk to ensure appropriate approvals to migrate process and data to Cloud.
- Manage business, IT and Cloud Provider resources to deliver production solutions in Cloud. Comprehensive dependency management.
- Engage with Group Cloud to ensure solutions remain aligned with Group direction.
- Ensure stakeholder expectations are managed. Leadership & Teamwork
- Contribute towards building a high performing team.
- Lead DevOps teams using Agile project methodology.
- Continually striving to achieve high standards and developing, motivating and inspiring high-performance in others.
- Promote an enjoyable, inclusive team atmosphere which provides people with opportunities to grow in a transparent way.

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications
The role holder will have a track record of strong execution capability and be able to demonstrate the following:
- Extensive, practical experience of implementing Cloud Solutions in complex organizations (ideally financial services).
- Exceptional drive, commitment and focus with track record of delivery.
- Proven AWS / Google experience.
- Background in Linux administration and scripting, Python, Ruby, Java, Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Jenkins
- Strong understanding of CI/CD and available tools
- Experienced with Agile project methodology
- Worked with DevOps teams
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with experience in a complex global environment. Ability to engage and challenge our Legal, Compliance, Information Security and Operational Risk teams to migrate data and processes to Cloud.
- Strong communicator with excellent oral and written skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with proven ability to handle multiple outputs at one time.
- Extensive knowledge of Risk processes desirable.
- Relevant knowledge of the regulatory and other external requirements impacting Cloud desirable.
