Role Purpose /
Description
CMB digital IT Team provides technology solutions
to support Commercial Bank channels development and support. The team is mainly responsible for the
development and support of HSBCnet Core Services
We are now inviting experienced professionals to
join us to support the above development projects. Your key responsibilities will include the
following:
The Project Management Officer (PMO) will act as the
liaison among the business teams,
engineering teams, testing team, release teams and service delivery teams.
-He/she will manage
the entire process throughout project life cycle, including but not limited to
initiation, design, construction, execution and implementation.
-He/she will work
closely with the development teams to
ensure the IT project is delivered on schedule and budget, and meets the
business requirements in acceptable quality.
-He/she will be
responsible for managing the day-to-day activities, including:
-Resource and
portfolio management for CMB Digital IT
-Supporting
recruitment and ramp of the team. Manage the collection, collation and
processing of status update from stakeholders.
-Demonstrated
business knowledge, such as experience leading a Profit and Loss (P&L) unit
-Monitor and report
on budgets and expenditure
-Assist with the
implementation of project standards across projects
-Managing and
updating project documentation, process documents and information sources
-Coordination of the
regular project and programme level reporting
-Co-ordination of
project governance arrangements
-Tracking statuses of
project deliverables and milestones
-Risk and issue
monitoring and co-ordination
-Lead and develop a
team of PMO professionals ensuring capabilities are up skilled

Knowledge &
Experience / Qualifications
-Be a project
management officer for more than 3 years and lead project management office
tasks.
-Strong communication
skill and fluent in English, CET6 is required.
-Strong presentation
and summarization skill in terms of
project management reports, including finance, cost, progress, RAID etc.
-Positive 'can do'
attitude, detail-oriented and self-motivated
