Since opening in 2003, PPD’s offices in China now include 20 different departments. The combined Beijing and Shanghai offices are now seven times the size they were two years ago and are continuing to grow. Currently PPD is recruiting for a Commercial Finance Manager  for China.

  

You will be part of a global team working on the preparation of high-quality budget and proposal documents which support PPD’s delivery strategy for clinical projects.

 

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with management of client deliverables through the various stages of the preparation, approval and finalization/delivery processes.
• Resolving complex deliverable issues using broadly defined company and department practices and policies in order to select methods and techniques to manage risk and obtain results.
• Involved in/leading general process improvement and quality initiatives.
• Line management responsibilities for a team of Commercial Analysts.

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant area;
• Experience of budget preparation;
• High level knowledge and understanding of contractual documents;
• Experience in dealing with clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction;
• High quality oral and written communication ability with good presentation skills;
• Strong math, attention to detail/quality and prioritization skills;
• Experience in and ability to train, mentor and provide leadership;

Or equivalent combination of education, professional training and/or experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills and abilities for the job.
