Role Title: Lead Project Management Officer
Business: Global Banking & Markets IT
Role Purpose / Description
The Lead Project Management Officer will work with the Business Managers and IT Heads to ensure a consistent and effective approach to managing the operational and financial aspects of their respective IT organisation (Asset Class / Region). The Business Manager will assist in the delivery of support objectives including Operational Risk & Internal Control, Financials, Human Resources, Communications, Vendor Management, and Relationship Management. For the respective asset class or region
Operational Risk & Internal Control
? Ensure audit issues are tracked through to resolution and other operational risk elements (CSA’s, SOX)
and
? Assist with the operational risk and audit remedial action follow up and resolution tracking. Global Finance & Planning
? Static data setup in Clarity for the asset class
? Ensure accurate plan and forecast numbers are captured in nPDM
? Work with Business Managers, system owners and project managers to ensure accurate and timely planning and re-forecasting
? Ensure the ITO Inventory is kept up to date
? Set up new projects in IT Portfolio Management tools
? Assist FRM in generating and explaining customer bills
? Responsible for financial accruals for asset classes in region
and
? Responsible for Cost centre tracking (e.g. headcount, training, travel). Human Resources
? Monitor resource allocations across the asset class
? Oversee contractor management
and
? Ensuring org charts are up to date. Communications & Reporting
? Manage departmental intranet and wiki / plone sites (content management)
? Produce MI measuring performance against departmental objectives
? Coordinate & consolidate regional project status reporting and/or contribution to global project status reporting
and
? Assist with Executive and Management reporting. Quality
? Define/maintain project governance processes
and
? Co-ordinate Quality Surveys and ensure resulting action plans are tracked. Projects
?Ownership of asset class or regionally specific projects as required. Other
?Time Sheet administration and chasing.

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications
? Proven excellent analysis and problem solving skills.
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
? Excellent financial data analysis and financial management experience
? The ability to understand customer requirements and concerns and ensure results exceed their expectations.
? Delivery-focused with ability to pay attention to detail and ensure tasks are completed on time and to the required levels of quality.
? Proven ability to prioritise workload effectively in line with business priorities.
? Ability to work to tigh deadlines.
? Ability to build relationships by communicating, influencing and negotiating effectively across the whole department and business users. This includes global relationships.
? Self-starter.
? Drive and tenacity to ensure change is effectively implemented in a matrix environment
? Experience of project lifecycle programme/project management, and significant experience of programme/project reporting to senior management
? Preferably industry standard qualifications in financial/accounting disciplines or project management accreditation
