SOURCING EXECUTIVE – GUANGZHOU

MISSION:

In this position, you will be a key player in the sourcing team and help source products in various industries to attain the best value for the clients, i.e. the best combination of price & defined quality standard.

GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES:

A sourcing executive can progress to become Senior Sourcing Executive & then Sourcing Manager. Sourcing executives depending on their experience & performance may also get to manage 1 or more Sourcing Assistants to help them with their day to day work.

The SE’s and SSE’s on top of an attractive basic-salary would also have an opportunity to join our attractive profit-share program.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Gathering & understanding sourcing requirements from our clients in the US, UK & other countries.
• Digging deep to source and shortlist the best factories and showing persistence in successfully finding the perfect suppliers for our clients who can offer the defined quality standard at the best possible price.
• Dealing with clients to update them on the latest status of their productions.
• Supporting the Account Manager in communicating order updates to the client.
• Training & managing the Sourcing Assistants and taking responsibility for their performance and retention.
• Working with factories to ensure products meet quality standards set by the client & orders are delivered on time.
• Working with the logistics companies to ensure timely delivery of goods.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 4 years of sourcing experience for SE role and 6 years for SSE role.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Good spoken & written English.
• Ability to source products across industries, however, if you have deep knowledge in one of the industries below that would be an advantage – Consumer Electronics, Home & Kitchen Products, Furniture, Sports & Outdoors.
• A passion for reading and a track record of continuously investing in yourself through training and personal development would support your application.
