· Senior Designer(Art Base) – Base in Guangzhou

What we need

We are looking to add a couple of talented Senior Designer to our creative team who can communicate clearly and effectively — someone who is willing to learn our clients’ brands, needs and methods for success. This designer will enthusiastically tackle a variety of projects and have a wide-range of experiences.

Your Overall Purpose

• To have the ability to develop original campaigns and ideas, i.e. skills beyond those of an Art Director
• To have a deep knowledge of Typography and a very good feeling for its appropriate use
• To have knowledge of Photography
• To have a very good knowledge of Print Production techniques and processes
• To have a good sense of design and follows the latest trends
• To have an advanced knowledge of artwork preparations and its appropriate use for reproduction in various media
• To ensure hours are written accurately, and fully on time sheets
• To have solid knowledge of required languages and the relevant design skills
• To have a strong grasp of relevant computer skills

What you bring to the table

• Gives effective feedback and coaches individuals to develop their own knowledge, skills and behaviour
• Effectively manages multiple project requests
• Able to understand the strategic thinking that has gone into a brief
• Able to talk intelligently and confidently as to why creative work is on strategy
• Ability to sell creative concepts and executions internally
• Builds strong relationships with Account Management, Planning & Traffic
• Have experience in content creation and social media campaigns.
• Presents ideas clearly, succinctly and passionately
• Ability to display meticulously well-designed Art Direction
• Ability to finesse the ideas of junior creative staff
• Good knowledge of creative formats (above and below the line)
