Description
· Lead new product development for external OTC product development projects to support regional OTC business needs with focus on China.
· Closely work with Marketing/Franchise teams to understand consumer needs and business strategy and develop technical strategy
· Actively interact with QA, Manufacturing, Medical & Regulatory Affairs and Supply Chain teams to ensure effective technology transfer.
· Identifies, evaluate, conduct risk assessment and develop action plans for efficient technical due diligence
· Manage multiple new product development projects simultaneously.
· Ensure on budget and on time delivery of quality NPD projects launches.
· Interact with external institutes, CRO and technology development company for new technology introduction or external technical collaboration
· Interact with global R&D colleagues, re-apply and improve internal technology to support local NPD launches.
· Coach Staff scientist/Sr. scientists in the R&D organization.
Qualifications
· MS degrees in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmacy or related field.
· More than 4 years experience in formulation, analytical, process development or technical transfer and more than 4 years experience of working with Business, cross functional teams and external contract labs as a technical leader.
