Job description:

Experienced design manager for womens fashion brand,
1)The role is to work with the international designer team each day through email/wechat to help them arrange their collections;

2) work closely with the GZ office merchandiser team to develop all samples ready for collection presentation;

3)Excellent communication skills,both written & spoken English;

4)Degree in fashion is essential as position would require some sketching;

5)Familiar with development of garments and sample follow up,working closely with manufacturer to ensure good quality samples;

6)Sourcing and selecting fabrics and trims,analysing trends in fabrics, colors and shapes;

7)Experience working with an international brand not essential but would be a bonus;

8)Directly reporting to the Head designers/Creative Director in Kuwait and the China country manager in Guangzhou;

9)Position is based in the Guangzhou office, with the possibility to travel in Asia region, for shopping/research trips.

Requirement:
1) Possess over 3 years fashion design experience;
2) Diploma or degree in Fashion design,Fluent English both spoken and written is a must;
3) With strong sense of fashion trend, materials, fabric and accessories;
4) Be creative, passionate and enthusiastic for fashion;
5) Proficiency in using Mac or PC design software including Illustrator and Photoshop;
6) Possibility for traveling in Kuwait /Asia region (2 times per year);
