Candidate Profile
                Position: Junior Process Engineer: Batch food processing.



Location: Guangzhou, China

Purpose:
To provide technical support and offer solution to process problem that arises on regular basis in a large food manufacturing plant. Offer hands on project management to implement such solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:
The key responsibility will be to offer technical solutions to process problems that arises on a regular basis on large batch food manufacturing plant. The problem may arise due to changes in process conditions (formulation change, design changes etc) or malfunctioning of process equipment. The role will require working closely with the Owner's engineering organization on the shop floor, Owner's global engineering organization, Owner's engineering project delivery teams, owner's corporate technical resources and key vendors & suppliers.


Work Experience:
No experience required.

Education:
Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering.

Skills
Demonstrated skills and industry level knowledge (design, operation and trouble shooting) in core batch processing operations, such as:

Liquid handling Filtration Size separation
Solid handling Agglomeration Grinding
Liquid/solid mixing Drying Heat transfer equipment
Powder mixing Automatic Batching System Stainless steel welding
Extrusion CIP technology GMP standard

Project Management Skills:
? Be capable of preparing scope (coordinating with other technical disciplines) according to evolving project phases, e.g. Scope Definition, Design Development, Bid Preparation and Supplier Selection, Construction and Close out.
? Fundamental cost estimation
? Basic Scheduling

Vendor and Supplier Management Skills:
Be capable of working with International Suppliers and look for cost saving opportunities.

Leadership:
Work effective in multifunctional teams, influential in engaging and leading people for project execution.
Effectively understand customer's and overall project needs from a technical, business and environment standpoint.- Set clear priorities, and own results.

Personal Attribute:
Have a highly logical mindset, knows how to tackle a problem logically to come up with solutions
Detail oriented
Good communication skills, both written and oral
Fast learner, can quickly adapt in unknown and fast-paced business environments

Language :
Language of English language proficiency to be able to effectively interact in meetings and conference calls with people from different geographies.
