DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- This role reports to Team Leader Quality Assurance in Hugo Boss Guangzhou office and this position is based in Guangzhou.
- He/she maintain a constant liaison with R&D department and Merchandising Team department, as well as close relations with garment vendor in China, in order to produce prototypes/ salesman samples and production in line with the worksheets and specifications received.
- Be present in suppliers' factories and provide technical support during prototyping and salesman sample & bulk production.
- Assure quality and write comments of prototypes, salesman samples jump size sets and track delivery performance.

POSITION/PERSON QUALIFICATIONS:

- The ideal candidate for this position of Quality Assurance Technician has gained a significant experience within brand dealing with the production of outerwear and jackets
- At least 8 years experience in garments manufacturing with strong technical know how and background in outerwear and jackets; the candidate should be engaged in the fashion and luxury industries
- Ideally graduated with a diploma in fashion-related disciplines, like Bachelor in clothing technology or textile engineering
- Work experience in foreign companies as a technician will be a definite advantage
- Pattern making experience would be beneficial
- Garment treatment (i.e. washing, dying etc.) experience would be beneficial
- Willingness for travelling within China/Asia
- Ability to work independently, but also open minded and be able to work in the Hugo Boss team structure
- Able to identify problems and propose solutions
- Fluent Chinese is and English language skill is a must.
- Skilled in MS-office software
- Be able to work under pressure
- Good organizational skills
