职位描述：
Job Title: Production Merchandiser
Job Description:

Acting on behalf of International Retailer in Guangzhou Office, to perform production/merchandising activities, support for Design Team, provide technical advice and follow up, sourcing,and to assist in the achievement of business objectives.


LOCATION
Guangzhou, with availability for travel within China

FUNCTIONS:
1. Manage Fast Fashion orders in Guangzhou Area and/or other China cities, ensuring all orders can approve on hime and meet with quality standards.
2. Provide technical advices to ensure on-time delivery.
3. Provide Sourcing as requested

4. Maintain and build a strong vendor network for product development and production

5. Perform other duties as assigned by management

TEAM:
Key relationships
Internal: Designers, QA managers (Head Office)
External: Suppliers

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Excellent knowledge of Clothing Manufacturing, with direct experience of working in a manufacturing unit.

2. Minimum 6-9 yrs production/merchandising experience on apparel products - woven and knitted. ( Experience in Shoes an advantage )

3. Experience of working in global sourcing office, brand buying office, buying agent or trader
4. Knowledge of costing, market trends, product safety requirements, textile material, garment production, QA and compliance
5. Very familiar with vendor network for garment manufacturing in China area

COMPETENCE:
1. Excellent planning and organization skills.
2. Performance oriented, with ability to take initiative in order to overcome obstacles and problems
3. Good coordination and cooperation with internal and external parties.
4. Excellent negotiation skills to meet business objectives.

EDUCATION:
( ideal but not essential ) Bachelor degree in textile, trading, business admin, supplier chain management, English, etc.

OTHER KNOWLEDGE:
Intermediate computer skills;
Very Good command of both spoken and written English skills, used to working in an English speaking international environment
