Purpose / Mission:
? Strategically leveraging all of our communities partnerships to build the company’s brand in an integrated manner within the Go-To-Market (GTM) process
? Developing programs and events to enhance the brand as the brand-of-choice in China.
? Developing and managing grassroots events to position as the most authentic and committed brand at the grassroots level.
Accountabilities:
Planning
? Strategically utilize our sponsored assets and events with marketing communication support to associate with our brand and products
? Manages product and service plans and leads team to provide best service to assets
? Inputs into sports marketing strategy with Sports Marketing Category leader
? Executes precisely the sports marketing strategy as it relates to the overall Marketing Plan.
? Builds a portfolio of partners in order to efficiently and effectively communicate with the market
? Develops specific programs to activate our assets and to drive the brand
Management
? Manages the execution, monitoring and reporting of all programs/events around the assets.
? Develops a reputation in the sports industry as the brand that provides the best products & services, and builds a healthy relationship with the outdoor industry
? Ensures that the teams and individuals wear and represent the products according to our Marketing Plan to communicate the company as the leading performance brand
Financial
? Maximizes and follows the exact plan of the sports marketing budget according to the execution of the Marketing Plans/Sports Marketing strategy developed in coordination with the Sports Marketing Director
? Develops the budgetary plan for sports marketing
? Maximizes use of budget and ensures maximum return on financial investment
? Assumes responsibility for T&E budget
Systems and Processes
? Negotiates and executes contracts, strategic alliances, events, product procurement, delivery, service to and the assets
? Ensures the management of our assets is a leader in the industry which includes: on-time delivery of our products, product satisfaction, and partnership building
? Work closely with the logistics and finance departments on processes to service our assets effectively and accurately
? Develops the procedures to control, track the distribution and manage inventory of promotional products
People Management
? Provides strong leadership for horizontal as well as vertical reports
? Sets performance plans with each direct report
? Plans include goals, key job responsibilities, competency development, measures, and follow-up activities.
? Reviews include goals, key job responsibilities, company values and competency development.
? Provides coaching & feedback to subordinates
? Ensures that direct reports set performance plans with subordinates
? Cooperates with superior & HR in all pay decisions regarding subordinates
? Generates a high level of teamwork between all Departments
Training
? Develops workforce planning for the Department on a half yearly basis
? Works closely with the HR Department on the plan and the needs for the Department
? Cooperates with HR to identify future leaders for the company and builds development plans for and with them

Professional background / Experience:
? Strong knowledge and background in the outdoor sports marketing industry in China
? Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sponsorship management and event marketing with an international brand in China
Education
? Bachelor's Degree in business related discipline is required

Language skills:
? Fluent in English and Mandarin (written and spoken)
