We are a Sourcing & Quality Control company based in Tianhe District, Guangzhou and we are looking for a Sourcing Executive/Merchandiser. You would be working under the “senior sourcing executive”. We are looking for candidates with more than 2 years of sourcing experience, preferably in computer accessories or furniture industry. (But this is not essential).

Essential Requirements:
1. Very Good English reading, writing and understanding and at least intermediate level speaking and listening. We have a fully English Speaking work environment, hence this is very important.
2. Basic knowledge of excel
3. Good “internet search” skills are very important in order to be effectively able to find new suppliers.
4. Good negotiation skills are essential for this position, as it would involve negotiating with suppliers.
5. Desire to work with “Various products” from “Various Industries”. This position currently does not involve specialising in one “specific product” so we are looking for candidates who enjoy the challenge of working with various different products. After you have been with the company for a while, it may lead to you specialising in one of the positions.
6. Technology Orientation: We are a company that relies heavily on using “technology” to get things done faster & better. Therefore, we are keen on hiring people who enjoy learning the use of new software & technology and are able to pick-up new software quickly.
Preferable Requirements:
7. Some experience of computer accessories products like keyboards, mouse, USB Sticks, tablets, etc. will be useful.
8. Some knowledge of the local wholesale markets in Guangzhou would be useful.

Job Responsibilities:
1. Finding suppliers for given products and negotiating prices with them.
2. Making export documentation & managing logistics for export orders.
3. Accompanying customers to the wholesale markets when required.
4. Understanding requirements of foreign customers & Making quotations for products in excel file.
