The Job:

Reporting to country Senior Sales Management, successful incumbent is responsible to provide excellent services to Key Account customers for sustainable profitable growth and achieve company sales target. His other essential functions will include but not limited to:


  • Develop and manage multiple Key Account customer relationships. Makes regular customer visits throughout sales territory and interfaces with customers directly at all levels of the customer organization.
  • Serve existing and prospective accounts by discovering customer requirements and then using knowledge of Company capabilities to best meet those requirements.
  • Interface with internal marketing and technical services to quantify customer and market needs, then develops strategy to meet those needs. Research and provide information to management on competitive products, marketplace pricing and required Company product enhancements.
  • Coordinate internal customer service, technical and logistical resources as required to meet customer needs. Team-based approach is critical due to breadth and complexity of Company’s customer base.
  • Work collaboratively with related groups to share information and develop markets and customers.
  • Conduct sales presentations for new and existing customers, both at customer sites and Company locations as necessary.
  • Performs other duties as required, including but not limited to meeting with suppliers and/or regulatory personnel, etc.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Materials, Polymer Engineering or Business Management plus a minimum of 6 years’ solid experience in Engineering Plastics sales, sales distribution and or compounding;
  • Strong technical capability and customer technical problem solving skills;
  • Excellent communication skills and relationship building with internal colleagues and key customers.
  • Professional approach and proactive.
  • Ability to travel within China and other APAC countries when required;
  • Good command of spoken and written English a must.
  • Home-base office in some occasions may be required.
