Brief Job Description:
ESL Teachers at Scholastic GuangZhou. You will be teaching English classes to students ranging from 3 to 12 years old. Your teaching time will be mostly weekends and weekday evenings. There will be no more than 12 kids per class and you will have an English speaking local teacher to assist you.
Duties:
1.Teaching ESL--- English as a Second Language
2 Lesson planning and preparation, curriculum and material will be provided by Scholastic
3.Giving English level test to children as needed
4.Assisting with administration including intake and placement of students and recording attendance
5.Counseling students
6.Participating in the school's social program including Extra Curricular Activities (ECA's) and doing demo classes to potential customers
7.Participating in promotional and marketing activities organized by the school
Compensation package for Full Time ESL Teachers:
1.Pre-job Training in our regional center in Shanghai
2.Good Salary from 12,000 to 20,000 and above a month
3.16 days paid holidays
4.3 days paid sick leave
Requirements:
1.You must love kids!
2.Bachelor Degree or above
3.TEFL/TESOL/CELTA Certificate preferred
4.Teaching Experience Preferred
5.Native English Speaker
