职位描述
IT Specialist/Tech Coach
Responsibilities:
? Provide first line support to staff & students on day-to-day technology issue.
? Provide appropriate technical advice and assistance to other district staff and students in support of curriculum, teaching and learning goals and objectives.
? Perform troubleshooting and repairing procedures to correct common issues with computers/network/ other IT facilities.
? Provide regular training on incorporating technologies in work&study to staff/students.
? Participate in IT Team projects with focus on technology training and integration.
? Deploy and maintain technology systems as required, keeping them secure and up-to-date by following best practices and procedures.
? Keep appropriate records and logs on system deployment & maintenance tasks.
? Perform other technology tasks and duties as assigned.
Requirements:
? Experience in configuring and troubleshooting Windows and MacOS computers
? Strong skills in Office software including Word/Excel/PowerPoint
? Ability to troubleshoot and isolate technology problems in an effective manner
? Ability to use the English language to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
? Ability to proactively learn new technology knowledge and skills, then apply them in an effective manner in helping others use and integrate technology into the education curriculum and support processes.
? Experience in installing and managing Windows/Linux servers is preferred
? Be able to multitask in time-sensitive situations while maintaining effectiveness and efficiency expectations.
