Responsibilities：

1. Be Familiar with wireharness process, sub component cost estimation

2. Provide effective Purchasing support for the acquisition and development of the new projects.

3. Target cost evaluation and definition of sourcing strategy with Marelli Commodity team

4. Propose potential cost improvements idea, eg. cooperate with different functions to implement deep localization

5. Secure achievement of the project KPI defined in RQA phase

6. Negotiation of prices, terms and conditions with suppliers for wireharness

7. Supplier selections and contractual nomination

8. Follow-up wireharness for all projects until SOP+6 months

9. Work closely with SDE for APQP activities

10. Drive early supplier involvement in projects and align inputs with internal stakeholders

11. Work together with commodity/family buyer for annual productivity negotiation with suppliers

12. PO handling and delivery tracking

     

    Participates – on demand – to supplier audits and visits for productivity, technology, and management capability review

    Identifies technology trends that lower cost and increase quality (market know-how)

    Contributes to implementation planning and change management initiatives

    Supports the APQP reviews of new product development and industrialization phases

    Manages material incoming to secure sample builds and production ramp-up

 

Qualifications:

1. Engineering or commercial degree

2. Around 2-3 years’ experience (automotive preferred) in purchasing of Electrical components (preferably wireharness parts)

3. Fluent in English

4. Knowledge of harness market

5. Able to work alone as well as in team

6. Problem solving, leadership, international mindset

7. Capacity to cooperate in a Global environment as a part of a Global team

8. IT knowledge (Windows, MS Office, SAP)

9. Flexibility and ability to travel

10. Target oriented
