• Lead the team to provide product design and development services to customers 
• Provide tailored services to customers to establish and enhance customer relations
• Manage the team to ensure service quality and operation efficiency
• Research and analyze market trends to identify suitable product, and market trends for customers
• Identify, evaluate potential vendors to meet current and future sourcing needs
• Manage the coordination of designed sampling, including fabrics, yarn’s, placement of sample order with sample rooms and achieving sample due dates
• Lead a team of Product Development specialists to sustain business expansion in an universal environment
• Oversee product development, sampling, compliance, quality and reliability
• Provide technical advice on design, production and quality assurance
• Research and analyze market trends to identify suitable products, ensure our products are developed in correct direction
• Identify, evaluate potential vendors to meet current and future sourcing needs
• Design new products and product improvements to meet business and consumer needs
• Develop new and improved materials and technologies with suppliers, and ensuring all new raw materials obtain proper safety testing and clearance
• Support corporate proprietary technology by documenting and patenting novel ideas, and by analyzing relevant competitive patents and proposing strategies to design around existing art
• Provide technical support to Technical Services and Sales to address specific customer issues or information requests, and sales training
• Work with manager to help set project objectives and work priorities for R&D Lab Technicians
• Coach and develop indirect reports to enhance team performance towards department objectives
• Work with 3D software suppliers to ensure we have the latest news of the industry
• Identify better 3D solution and establish the way to evaluate software’s capabilities, make report to demonstrate the benefit
• Work with PD team and Designers to develop suitable 3D process from time to time
• Establish and adjust 3D team’s working protocol based on designers & customers’ feedback from time to time
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

• Degree in Clothing, Textile, Design or related discipline preferred
• Minimum 8 years' relevant experience with at least 3 years in managerial level
• Experience in product development, preferable gained from apparel industry with international trade exposure
• Strong product knowledge with good development skills, and familiar with merchandising and product development process
• Able to work under pressure, result oriented, excellent communication skills, self-motivated, responsive and detail minded
• Ability to build strong relationships with the team as a good team leader, communicate effectively with internal and external parties
• Strong problem solving skills.  Able to manage multiple tasks environment
• Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Literate in Microsoft office programs
• Frequent travel is required
• 3 years’ relevant experience of footwear 3D team management
