Responsibilities:

Managing Purchasing and Sourcing Strategies and daily activities of related white goods products (determination and implementation of product procurement strategy, cost analysis and improvement studies, managing projects);

Preparing RFQs;

Supplier management in terms of commercial, technology and quality;

Preparing regular purchasing, supplier, market and industry trends reports;

Using appropriate price reduction methods to enforce and carry out the best purchases;

Regular Negotiations with the suppliers for cost down of purchase products;

Coordinate and evaluate supplier quotations;

Implementing necessary methods and measures to achieve the department targets;

Meeting the on-time delivery demand of internal customers;

Searching for new alternative suppliers to improve supplier portfolio;

Contract Management with the suppliers;

Follow market trends, technologies, supplier road maps, changing policies and legislation to create the relevant product group road map and prepare input to Long Term Planning processes;

Project Management from kick-off to Mass Production;

New Product Implementation;

"Total Cost of Acquisition" understanding with Strategic Sourcing Activities;

Payment Term, Incoterms, Logistics, OTIF, Supplier Evaluation studies;

Cross Functional Communication with Global Internal Departments (i.e. Product Management, R&D and Quality, Planning, Sales and Marketing);

Create and finalize cost down projects with suppliers and internal departments;

Participate supplier visits, audits, industry exhibitions and fairs.

 

Qualification:

Bachelor degree, major in Engineering, Business, English, Economics (master degree is a plus)

5 years+ Sourcing and Purchasing Experience in a global company of household appliances and/or white goods (Washing Machine, Refrigerator, Dish Washer, Dryer,  Oven, etc. is must)

 Industry & Commercial knowledge, Negotiation experience

 Good at oral and written English, project management

 Good at communication, time management, negotiation skills, contract management.

 Household appliances Production / R&D / Quality Assurance background is a plus.

 MS Office excellency (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

 Knowledge of quality management systems

 Thinking broadly about business,

 Multi-tasking and well organized,

 Understanding the needs of market and customers

 Having desire to do outstanding jobs,

 Recognizing and understanding emotions of other people,

 Listening different perspectives and showing flexibility,
