JOB SUMMARY:

The Director of IT Business Intelligence will work closely with our Asia Pacific IT Services Lead and US to oversee the development and delivery of business Intelligence (Decision Support Data, Dashboards etc.). This position will have the opportunity to work with team members across the globe. This role will participate in developing plans, strategies, budgets, capital and staffing requirements for reporting, analytics, data sourcing, data repository, data analytics, dashboards and business intelligence.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Design and lead an organization that is responsible for the collection and summarization of data in the data warehouse

; implementation and maintenance of the Business Intelligence delivery tools.

2. Lead team responsible for design, implementation, and ongoing support of regional Analytics, BI, EDW and data visualization regionally.

3. Research required to ensure the company is using the right technologies to ensure smooth delivery and comprehension of data.

4. Partner with business leaders from across the region to prioritize initiatives and standardize approaches to information delivery.

5. Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed changes to aid management in making implementation decisions.

6. Participate in the negotiation and maintenance of contracts with Analytics, BI and Reporting vendors.

7. Collaborate with the business and data governance to design and implement common data standards to enable consistent and accurate reporting for the business.

8. Stay abreast of latest technology and trends in EDW/BI/Analytics space.

9. Serve as a key point of contact for information delivery needs and seeks ways to improve the utilization and adoption of tools.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor's degree in the field of computer science or information systems.

2. 10 years of knowledge and experience in the area of application architectures, technology architectures, and the integration of the architectures across the enterprise.

3. Proven experience in IT strategic planning and development, project management, and policy development.
