Position Summary:
The Quality Auditor will assist with establishing the overall quality, safety and reliability for the Company to ensure compliance with applicable statutory regulations, internal Company quality requirements, and customer requirements. The Quality Auditor will perform process audit functions including being responsible for conducting quality control inspections/verifications, quality control metrics, production monitoring, testing on manufacturing, incoming in-process materials, and final production products.

You’ll Do:
? Perform process audits and support inspection in factories regionally
? Perform internal test/verification and validation with Product Development and factories
? Familiar with production equipment and testing, measurement, and analytical equipment within factories
? Work with factories and Asia Compliance team to handle customer complaints and continue improvement.
? Assist QA Manager in supporting of customer and agency audits
? Assist factories to improve production process control
? Assist QA Manager to perform factory pre-audit (social compliance, quality system, GSV/SCS)
? Assist QA Manager to provide training to QC and lead the QC team
? Assist in organizing and handling testing with 3rd party labs
? Perform related work as necessary, including special projects as assigned

Bring It!
? Education – minimum 2 years’ college technical / diploma holder
? At least 3 years quality inspection and/or process audit experience in toy / juvenile children product field
? Knowledge of factory audit process and preferably Quality Management Systems Audit
? Knowledge of applicable regulations, including ASTMF963, EN71, CSA, ISO regulations
? Knowledge of ASTM standards for durable nursery products preferred
? Familiarize with Social Compliance requirements, ICTI, Sedex, SA8000 preferred
? Knowledge of problem solving and continuous process improvement disciplines
? Excellent math skills; some statistics; six sigma or lean training a plus
? Ability to use test gauges, calipers, micrometers, measuring tapes, rulers, thread plugs, thread ring gauges, radius gauges, pin gauges, and protractor
? Ability to use computer software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Work, Access, Outlook; and MRP systems
? Ability to Travel Regionally to cover multiple factories, within Guangdong province
? Good command of written English (verbal is a plus) and Mandarin
? Ability to work under pressure and able to meet deadlines
