Position Summary:
As a Senior Brand Manager, you will be responsible for defining, developing, and managing the execution of strategy across the Munchkin business with a focus on innovating established brand/business initiatives and authentically growing our emerging channels within Asia. Specific responsibilities will include new product launches, promotional programs, digital and e-commerce, channel development, competitive analysis, and vendor management. Key responsibilities of the role will be to provide clear thought and good planning on brand communication and driving digital integration into planning process.
You’ll Do:
- Create and oversee marketing strategy and roadmap across Asia regions
- Track brand communication plan and fully integrate with China business objectives and commercial calendar to increase brand awareness, drive traffic, and build customer engagement. Ensure storytelling is connected, relevant, and adds value across online and offline platforms. Manage the strategic growth and development of the Munchkin brand across the China market and innovate ways to grow the business year-over-year
- Create and execute innovative digital marketing plans across all digital platforms such as web, mobile, search, social, and CRM/data management.
- Manage Asia content calendar and lead Asia content development on digital and social channels by working closely with U.S. marketing teams and local agency.
- Responsible for day-to-day management on official WeChat and Weibo accounts and regularly update content.
- Strategically lead co-marketing activities with Ecommerce customers such as TMALL, JD, Netease Kaola, Miya, VIP etc. to aggressively grow Ecommerce business.
- Manage, monitor and optimize brand presence in Ecommerce flagship stores.
- Accountable for supporting revenue and regularly report and track KPIs for both Ecommerce and brick and mortar stores.
- Evaluate emerging digital technologies
- Conduct segment-specific analyses by through competitive monitoring and analysis market intelligence to produce the highest possible long-term market share.
- Manage external vendors and partners as appropriate (e.g., licensing, PR, research, etc.), including the potential for initiating relationships, contract review, setting strategic goals, development of plans and following-through with accountability for results.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Bring It!
- Minimum of 7 years marketing experience in multinational company (consumer packaged goods industry is a plus) and university degree required (MBA degree preferred)
- Experience launching products, setting strategic category direction, and running digital marketing campaigns, with strong organizational analytical and writing skills
- Experience in digital & Ecommerce marketing preferred
- Experienced business and brand builder with a proven track record of leading multi-functional teams to grow sales, market share and profit
- Fluent in English & Chinese required.
