Job Summary

Back up for Beirut sourcing & operations until inspection.


Essential Job Functions

1)Link between Beirut & China, makes sure that china understands what is requested from them. Interfere only when misunderstanding occurs and clarify.
2)Work closely with China team , so that they understand our procedures.  
3)Handle big projects & bids:  Visit the suppliers, negotiate & follow up (From Inquiry until Inspection)
4)Follow up on inquiries that are delayed and check problem with factory & team.
5)Check directly with suppliers in case a price or delivery cannot be reached, or in case of a problem  
6)Make sure that supplier knows exactly what item is requested for Sample
7)Comment on samples, advice if color and specs are correct and if sample match client’s request & make sure that the correct sample is sent to offices.
8)Follow up with team & suppliers on all orders; make sure that order is going smoothly until inspection.
9)Solve all problems related to Operations. 
10)Check inspection report and in case of problem solve immediately with factory
11)Visit the suppliers and follow up on inspection during production; for high value orders
12)Follow up on factory audit  
13)Handle claims, visit factories and negotiate
14)Make special deals with supplier, negotiation on long term commitment, and payment terms. 举报 分享
