Overview

KPMG Restructuring team offers a range of services and provides solutions to companies, their stakeholders and individuals in financial distress. You will be involved in a diverse and interesting range of assignments from assisting in the work-out of China’s Non-performing loan market to reporting on the financial condition of distressed companies, and promoting restructuring solutions to PRC state-owned enterprises.

Responsibilities

- Assist project manager in conducting due diligence engagements and report progress on a regular basis

- Assist project manager in preparing working papers for engagements

- Maintain excel-based database

- Perform research and analysis using internet or printed resources; and prepare research reports in Chinese

- Ensure the compliance of internal and statutory requirements when carrying out assignments

- Assist in other administrative work and ad-hoc tasks

Requirements

- A self-motivated team player with strong communication and analytical skills

- Willingness to work as part of a team to meet aggressive deadlines in a fast paced environment.

- Good verbal and written communications skills

- Proficiency in both English and Putonghua is essential.

- Good analytical, interpersonal and organisational skills

- Ability to work independently and under pressure
