Overview
BPG Werks is a Canadian company that pioneers the all-terrain, dual tracked vehicle, DTV Shredder, which combines the thrill of action, power, and motor sports. We are looking for a Senior Operational Accountant to oversee inventory, accounting, and manufacturing in China. He/she will be working with a tight-knitted, passionate, and talented team based in North America and China. This position offers a tremendous opportunity to grow as he/she will be instrumental in DTV Shredder’s successful launch in North America.
Key Responsibilities
? Preparation of financial statements;
? Budget forecast and cost control;
? Cash management and bank reconciliations;
? Inventory management, forecasting, and auditing, including managing inventory levels and schedules, placing purchase orders, following up with suppliers;
? Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and shippers;
? Invoicing and following up with sales orders;
? Supervise the operation team in China.
Pre-requisites
? Proficiency in professional English and Chinese;
? Certified accountant familiar with international accounting standards;
? Strong knowledge and experience with the Chinese banking system and accounting and tax regulations;
? Solid experience and knowledge in factory and international trade operations;
? Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills;
? Willingness to work during unusual hours as we often need to communicate with our North America office;
? Self-disciplinary and able to meet deadline;
? Proactive and attentive to detail;
? Willingness to learn and to engage in tasks outside of his/her expertise;
Preferences
? Passion in power sports;
? Willingness to travel as required;
? Energetic, positive, and ambitious.
