TITLE: National Key Account Manager - China
DEPT: Sales
MANAGER: Sales Director – Greater China

JOB SUMMARY: The National Key Account Manager - China is responsible for managing Munchkin key accounts sales in China. This role manages key direct customer (retailer) relationships in order to maximize accounts sales volume. In addition, the role works to develop key accounts to be Munchkin direct customers. The position reports to the Sales Director – Greater China.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: Other duties may be assigned.
? Manage Key Direct Customers including hypermarkets (Wal-mart China), National Chain Baby stores (Ai Ying Shi) and Key Accounts (King’s Wang, Leyou, etc.) which are supplied by distributors to booster in account / store sales;
? Establish KA strategy and plans including key category priorities, annual key account specific revenue goals, and collaborative partnerships to help build distribution.
? Forecasting - Maintain knowledge of product availability and account status. Utilize internal forecasting tools to provide accurate ongoing volume forecasts for accounts.
? Develop KAs which is none direct customer to be direct customer in order to increase Munchkin margin and maintain stable market sales price.
? Work with distributors to provide best in class service to KAs which has not been Munchkin direct customers.
? Market expertise - Supply timely market/customer feedback verbally and through prompt written reporting. Effectively communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual sales results. Analyze and develop account action plans based on customer sales data, competitive information, market share data and retail/category productivity. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with other business functions (including Trade Marketing, Marketing, Administration, Operations, Customer Service and Finance) for complete account management.
? Participate in industry tradeshows, sales meetings, and other company events as needed.
? Assist Sales Director to develop annual target and budget, and implement Trade Marketing programs in the accounts.
REQUIREMENTS:
? Minimum 5 years successful KA (hypermarket and baby store) management experience in China with an FMCG company, preferably in consumer products such as diapers, wipes, baby lotions and infant accessory product categories.
? Proven ability to develop and execute key account sales and trade marketing strategies by demonstrating continuous growth in revenue in previous roles.
? Demonstrate ability to deliver compelling sales presentations/promotions
? Effective negotiation skills.
? Strong communication skills in Mandarin and Cantonese, read & written English is mandatory.
? High energy, detail focused, action oriented contributor. Must be self motivated and detail oriented to direct own work.
? Capable of preparing accurate analyses, sales reports. Strong critical thinking skills.
? Strong computer skills required with proficiency in Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
? Team player able to establish effective working relationships with Munchkin HK office.
? University degree required.
? 50% plus travel – includes overnight stays and some weekends as needed.
