职位描述
Objective of job role
- Lead Procure to Pay activities within a Regional GBS Center.
- Provide guidance to team members with regard to Procure to Pay.
- Partner with the business to achieve key business objectives and goals.
- Ensure completion of regional Procure to Pay activities and report results both to the Regional Business and also GBS Management.
Main tasks/important responsibilities
Accounting and Finance Activities
- Oversees the operational excellence and quality of the Procure to Pay functions within the SSC including Accounts Payable and Travel & Expense
- Provide leadership and set the regional strategic direction and execution for P2P services including disbursement of company funds to vendors, subcontractors and employees
- Continually identify and implement process, policy and technology improvements, utilizing best practices, which will reduce cycle time, lower costs and improve quality relative to entire P2P process
- Lead and direct the setting of performance metrics that are communicated to operations personnel, business unit management and all P2P stakeholders
- Direct operations of accounts payable staff to support field organization, business unit management and Group personnel
- Direct P2P services to ensure accounting and processes are being completed on a timely basis and in compliance with JCI accounting policies, US GAAP and local GAAP regulations
- Partner with the Regional business to ensure that the business needs, from an P2P scope, are being met
- Recommend and ensure that global process change directives and other changes initiated by global are implemented regionally
- Provide leadership to the P2P teams.
- Direct the integration of acquisitions into P2P process. Ensure required training in conjunction with acquisition integration.
- Recommend and assist with the implementation of global technology improvements, based upon analysis of business issues, which reduce costs or improve quality. Ensure that we have proper process integration with al
- IT business systems.
- Lead the development of P2P related new technology and technology enhancements. Perform user testing and make additional recommendations as needed
- Develop and implement, in coordination with global process change management, process improvement/best practices that focus on reducing costs and cycle time, and /or improve quality, within the framework of generally accepted accounting principles, customer satisfaction, and business financial performance relative to the entire P2P process.
- Ensures comprehensive communications to all business stakeholders including field operations, group and business unit leadership as it relates to P2P
- Support the timely reporting of key financial information, monitor the performance and quality of the activities performed based on agreed Key Performance Indicators (“KPIs”) and Service Level Agreements (“SLAs”)
- Participate in development and implement Service Level Agreements for services provided. Measure and report selected performance metrics, customer satisfaction ratings, and ongoing improvement plans for all services
- Support routine and rigorous regional internal controls audit for the P2P function and report results to GBS leadership
- Ensure Regional P2P function is adequately prepared for internal and external audits
- Coordinate with the SSC FP&A lead to develop the annual P2P budget, quarterly P2P forecasts and monthly variance reporting
- Proactively monitor and operate a robust SOX and internal control environment
- Prompt response to all information requests
People & HR Activities
- Lead the management of day to day operations of all P2P personnel. Ensure all hiring, performance reviews and performance management issues for department in accordance with HR practices and procedures
- Direct the workforce planning needs and career development of P2P staff
- Ensure smooth daily operations of the team by providing support to team members, actively managing team members’ work volume and investigating inefficiencies
- Achieve deadlines set by leadership and the business and proactively monitor and raise instances where
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Build a climate that energizes team members and drives accountability
- Assist with recruitment, hiring and retaining finance staff
- Develop improvement plans for those employees who are not performing up to the expectations
- Lead the creation and modification of training programs and review content
Requirements
Education (technical and/or commercial)
- Professional accountancy Qualification such as, CPA, CIMA, ACCA, ACA –OR– MBA required
- Bachelors (or local equivalent) Degree required. Accounting and / or finance recommended
Job experience
- 12+ years of progressively more responsible assignments preferably in a publically traded, multi-divisional, global manufacturing or service business
- Significant experience with managing individuals and teams within a dynamic environment
- Demonstrated ability to effectively balance financial and operational factors and analyze complex business problems to develop appropriate solutions in a timely and responsive nature
- Significant experience working with complex global financial information systems and controls in a large, complex business that provides consistent and reliable information
- Strong experience with global operations, including acquisitions, joint ventures, financial planning, contracts, etc.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, strong interpersonal skills, analytical, change management and communication skills
Professional knowledge: in detail when specialist function
- Strong Accounting background and accuracy
MS-Office, SAP, iScala, Oracle & Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) experience - ERP implementation and process mapping experience (iScala, SAP, Oracle)
- Fluent in English and applicable local language(s)
