Job objectives:

- Ensure that internal & external customer requirements are realized during product & process development

- Contact person for all internal & external customers regarding quality issues product & process development

Key aspects of activity:

- Support in the creation and update of D- & PFMEA (incl. handling of the FMEA software & FMEA moderation) and incorporation of experience from past projects (Lessons learned)

- Analysis & deployment of customer specific requirements, incl. automotive industry requirements (ISO/TS 16949, AIAG, VDA, etc.)

- Appraisal of measurement system & process capabilities before SOP

- Classification of characteristics together the project team and with the customer. Ensuring consistency of classification over all related documents (D- & PFMEA, drawings, lists of important characteristics, process flow charts, control plans etc.)

- Tracking of the project-specific quality status according APQP or customer specific requirement

- Support of trial production runs & pre-launch production runs

- Conduction of process readiness audits, incl. tracking of corrective actions

- Coordination of the initial sampling process acc. PPAP or customer specific requirement for camshafts and internally manufactured products (e.g. finished lobes, nosepieces, tubes), incl. material data submission in IMDS

- Tracking of quality measurables

- Handling of customer complaints during pre-launch phase acc. 8D method or customer specific requirement

- Creation and update of (incoming) control plans

Job specification:

- In-depth knowledge of quality-tools especially FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, 8D

- Knowledge of ISO/TS 16949, QS 9000, VDA volumes and customer specific requirements

- Software: Apis IQ-RM, qs-stat, Lotus Notes, IMDS, MS-Office, Eigner PLM, SAP

Other requirements

- Ability to transfer the theoretical knowledge into practice

- Willingness to continue training in the field of activity

- Willingness to travel
